####Q&A with the Tour Guide When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
I've always had a passion for Boston's history and I became a tour guide fresh out of college. Now I want to tell the history of Boston's glamorous theater district and how it became the sleezy adult entertainment "combat zone" and came back again. So many legends came to play and so many got their start here. I can't wait to tell people about (deep breath here) Jay Leno, Al Pacino,Liz Taylor, Peter Wolf, and young JFK's favorite stripper.
As the old adage says, "Stuff happens." What training do you and your staff have to stay ahead of the unexpected?
Weather is always a factor in the walking tour biz. Rest assured that I have a raincoat and tours will run as long as there is not a hurricane.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
I'm just starting out and designed the tour I'd want to take. Not the old Colonial Boston tour but something totally new and exciting. I hope tourists AND Bostonians both will come along to discover all kinds of fun facts about tunnels, secret theaters and the previews of legendary Broadway shows around the Common and the theater district. So many fun and scandalous stories happened within a few short blocks.

The tour guide kept losing her train of thoughts, boring, terrible experience.

Very interesting take on Boston's history that you will not find from another tour. Leigh, our tour guide, pulled exciting aspects of history from both her own personal experience as well as historical readings, making for a delightful time.
