This is the second time my wife has gone to Carolyn.we moved to Virginia last year s d she has been looking for a hairdresser she likes and can do the cut she likes.Carolyn fits the bill and will be our go to while we are stationed here.

I was very disappointed. First, I went to the address on the Groupon to find she no longer works there. Plus, the telephone number was no longer in use. Make sure you only go to the Genito location. There are NO signs indicating her salon. Persons with mobility issues. - there isn't any handi-cap entrance only stairs. It's on the second level. The coupon does say no shampoo but when making the appointment, I was told that she will shampoo and likes to do it herself. So, I was charged an additional $25 for the shampoo and styling. I realize that $45 is a good price for a full service hair cut but $25 is a bit steep and there is NOTHING on the Groupon regarding an extra $25 fee for shampoo and styling. It's no longer a deal, especially when you add the tip. I definitely wouldn't have bought 2 vouchers. The hair-cut is just okay. Now that I'm home, I'm noticing uneven hair, which I can take care of myself; but I shouldn't have to. Carolyn is a pleasant person. I just wanted to let others know about my experience so they won't be blindsided like I was. Get the Groupon and experience it for yourself; it might be a better for you.
