Mimi's Paint Party, Brooklyn

Mimi's Paint Party's instructors encourage visitors to pick up brushes and let go of their inhibitions during social, fun-focused art events. During two-hour sessions, the artists lead students in step-by-step painting instructions, transforming canvases or wine glasses into their own masterpieces. Each event is unique in regard to its theme and snacks. As guests make their canvases less blank at singles mixers, cocktails spur on connections, and the Paint a Wine Glass night features a glass of wine, while the Stilettos Night features wine and buffalo wings to fuel creativity. On Masterpiece Mondays, instructors lead students through re-creating famous paintings, such as Van Gogh's Starry Night or Monet's Woman on an iPhone. The staffers also work with clients to host private events.
