About Waffle & Wolf

Business partners Daniel Richardson and Arman Sen are giving the sandwich a face-lift, attracting the attention of Zagat, Good Morning America, Time Out New York, and Paula Deen’s son, Bobby Deen, in the process. At Waffle & Wolf, Daniel—who is also the executive chef—crafts low-sugar regular and buckwheat waffles from a secret recipe, and then uses them to build sandwiches. The kitchen staff whips up waffles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, filling them with delicious ingredients such as seasonal produce, fried chicken and tahini yogurt, tuna salad, feta cheese, bananas, and chocolate. Many of their waffles are vegan-friendly, and contain vegan goodies such as avocado yogurt.

When drawing up business ideas, Daniel and Arman took inspiration from Duran Duran’s song “Hungry Like the Wolf,” and created a logo depicting their mascot, Mr. Wolf, howling at a waffle moon like a hungry guy howling at a pizza delivery driver. Each day Mr. Wolf announces the specials on the menu, which, in addition to tasty sandwiches, also includes fresh juices, and organic teas and coffees.

False advertising. They did not provide items listed in Groupon. Refused to give ice coffee or tea. Even after being shown the Groupon q&a section which clearly stated what drinks were included. The employee was rude and then got mad.
