The manager didn't want to redeem the groupon for full price--we were there on August 1 and the groupon had an expiration date of August 1. She told me that this expiration date means that the groupon looses full value at the midnight that starts on August 1, not at the end of the day of August 1. When I spoke to her, she quickly accepted that in spite of my confusion and tardiness, she would still allow the full value. She also stopped by with a couple of wonderful cinnamon rolls to take home because of the interaction.
Again, the food was great, just the circumstance was a bit awkward.
