About Green Acres

David and Beth Ferrell are the fourth generation of Ferrells to make their home on Green Acres Farm. But under the couple's stewardship, the farm has gone decidedly high tech. In the fall, when pumpkins are ripe for picking and Christmas trees are still lifting weights in preparation for winter, the farm opens its 10-acre corn maze to the public and encourages visitors to make their way through with help from a smartphone app. They can use the app to answer maze trivia and scan QR codes at various checkpoints sprinkled throughout the 2.5-mile labyrinth. Once complete, adults and youngsters alike can enjoy all the other farm attractions, such as face painting, hay rides, and corn hole.

Didn't realize it was only for small children. Very disappointing to waste our money and drive all that way for nothing.

My son and I had a good time. The maze was on the shorter side, but that ended up being good because we had somewhere to be later in the afternoon. The maze pit stop markers had not been well maintained and some had been broken, but we found them all! There were other things to do as well like climb on tractors, slides swings, animals, etc. We enjoyed it.

My 12 year old son and I had a great time! It was way too hot when we went but we still had a blast. And carving the pumpkins is an annual tradition we'll continue for a long time.
