One needs only to cross the threshold of Tic Toc Eating Establishment & Drinkery to be transported across the pond. Rich wood paneling, old-timey chandeliers, and an eclectic mix of antiques hanging on the walls give the eatery the feel of a small-town English pub without the golden pint glass saved in case the Queen stops by after work. The menu, however, is decidedly American, filled with comfort food made from scratch according to over 45-year-old recipes. Clocks and timepieces inspire the sandwich selection, such as Big Ben’s dual hamburger patties and Bulova’s one-third lb. patty topped with bacon and egg. Hickory-flavored Adam’s ribs are slathered with a housemade sauce, leading a smokehouse menu that also includes pulled pork and sausage.
