About Tango Grill Cafe

Latin and American cultures collide at Tango Grill Cafe. Each cuisine's comfort foods receive their share of space on the seasonally rotating menu, although the Mexican, Caribbean, and South American influences tend to appear most predominantly. Flaky empanadas can emerge from the kitchen along with adobo-rubbed sirloin steak or pan-seared crab cakes with lemon aioli. However, the chefs also forge eclectically inspired dishes such as philly spring rolls with shaved beef, peppers, and cheese, and irish eggs benedict with corned-beef hash.

Although gentle Latin music serenades guests most evenings, karaoke aficionados stop by on Tuesday nights for a chance to sing their favorite song or give a lecture on the proper way to fold a fitted sheet.

Very accommodating and gracious owner. Eggplant appetizer with goat cheese is indeed, a winner as was the Moqucca (sp?) The house cabernet turned...very bitter. The restroom needs work, but I presume that will come in time. Good luck with your venture. You are on a healthy path. Debra

The food was delicious but the bathroom was very dirty and the interior of the restaurant was very much in need of help. Also, we had to wipe our silverware before using.

I think the owner/manager meant well but the decor is kind of sad and the food was very mediocre. I got the paella and the seafood pieces were very small and the rice (with green beans in it?) did not taste very fresh.

The atmosphere was not so nice....went to the restroom and found myself basically in the kitchen with a curtain to seperate. Kind of tacky. The waitress seemed to keep forgetting us, but the owner (I assume it was the owner) was pleasant and checked on us. The food was very good....but not someplace I would take a date or go again for the ambiance....there wasn't any. I've been to several little places like it (storefront resaurants) but this place needs to hire an interior decorator to help them out. Sorry...wish I could give it a better rating as the food was really quite good and South American cuisine is novel enough to warrant a following.
