Chicago Taco & Tequila Fest features the city's best tacos and curates a summer cocktail vibe in its can't-beat location at the south end of scenic Lincoln Park. When the guests first enter the gates, the first margarita is on the house, included with their tickets. The event offers a tasty combination of stuffed tortillas and the juices of the blue agave plant, better known to distilled spirits aficionados as tequila. Both traditional and exotic ingredient-stuffed tortillas will be smartly paired with tequila-infused cocktails ranging from the classic margarita to the trendy grapefruit-flavored Paloma, zesty Sangre Maria, and ginger and berry-infused El Diablo. Additionally, the festival features margarita flights, 3-hour tequila tastings, art vendors, live island bands and DJs.
