Music from live folk bands, DJs, and karaoke crooners fill the cozy interiors of La Peña while servers deliver platters of authentic Ecuadorian cuisine. On many nights, dishes of empanadas with green plantain and ceviches with roasted dry corn emerge into a dining room filled with the spicy tunes of DJs or live performances of Andean folk music—a safer way to fill the air with culture than floating bubbles filled with hot sauce. The food was delicious and the service was superb! There was a band playing and the environment was very pleasant. My sister came to visit from Jerusalem and was very pleased and had a great time. We will definitely return to La Pena!

Pretty expensive is all. Even without alcohol, our bill came out to $47 without tip. Sans Groupon. Still worth checking out, though.

Great food and waitress. The staff accomodated my request for different side dishes than the ones on the menu. THAT GOES A LONG WAY TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER. I WILL BE BACK WITH FRIENDS.

The music is too loud on weekends. It was so unbearable that we had to come back on a Sunday afternoon. But the food was definitely delicious!:)
