Not what I expected for a chef's tasting. It's a pub basically. Food was so-so (artichoke with bacon, crab cakes, very dry pork, and a huge pumpkin cake), along with small tastes of ok wine. Near impossible to get an appointment in the first place (tried calling 10+ times, emailed, and finally succeeded using Facebook). If you go, just go get a burger and a beer & save chefs menu for elsewhere

The food was great, the waitress was overwhelmed and therefore couldn't come visit very often so we waited at times. Also, it was freezing because the door was opening and closing so frequently. It was extremely distracting. They need a winter, temporary second door that most places have.

First Groupon where I was dissatisfied. The food was tasty, the guy is a chef not just a cook. But, on the appetizer, the food was warm but the sauce was very cold. The next course was sword fish, very good, and then a crab cake, also good. The final course, one might expect a dessert but no, it was a large portion of very rare, chewy grisly steak with Korean cabbage. Frankly, we think he was cleaning out the fridge, possibly going under. We were the only ones there on a Thursday night. The worse part of was the wine pours, smallest I have ever seen for all 4 glasses. Go into Carmines or Gibson’s, ask for just a taste of a given wine and you’ll get a pour like these for free. All in all, a rip off.
