Our reservation was for Tuesday and it was pouring rain on Tuesday so there was no way to enjoy the boat ride and they offer no refunds or changes so unless we wanted to get soaked and sick we had no choice but to not use this

Amazing experience! Been in Chicago long enough, but gotta say the tour makes me fall in love with the city again. This boat tour has to be in your things to do list when exploring Chicago.

Very interesting cruise to get an understanding of the Chicago architecture. Our guide Dan was highly knowledgeable and helpful. Perfect duration. Ideal to start a stay in Chicago.
Shoreline Sightseeing has been whisking passengers along Lake Michigan since 1939. Traveling down the reverse-engineered Chicago River, Shoreline’s architecture tours explore the history of the city’s landmark buildings—from the Great Fire of 1871 to the work of famed architects Mies van der Rohe and Jeanne Gang. Colorful bursts illuminate the sky during fireworks cruises, and nighttime tours allow for glimpses of lit-up buildings. Classic lake tours drift into Lake Michigan, giving passengers a chance to espy the whole city, and water taxis connect visitors from one destination to the next, speeding between Navy Pier, the Museum Campus, Michigan Ave., and the Willis Tower.
