Turkey Chop, Chicago

Quentin Love grew up in some of Chicago's poorest neighborhoods, surrounding by addiction and crime. After joining the Marines and receiving an honorable discharge, he came back home.

Love worked hard and became a successful entrepreneur, but he never forgot his roots. In fact, they inspired him to found several restaurants that would help his community take charge of their health by cutting out red meat and pork. One of these restaurants was Turkey Chop.

Turkey Chop's signature dish is the turkey chop—something Love created after experimenting with different cuts of the bird and flavorful seasonings. He then created such dishes as the new york turkey steak and Chicago-style turkey polishes. His popular turkey burgers layer up to three patties on buns and come with a choice of toppings.

Other dishes are vegetarian or made with seafood, so no matter what you choose, eating at Turkey Chop is an easy way to live healthier, unlike wearing a fishbowl on your head to keep out the germs.
