I took my tablet in for a screen replacement and screen only, I did not ask for diagnostics on my tablet as everything still worked just fine. When I called I was told the screen was in stock and it would be 24-48 Hrs for repaired. When arriving to the store I was told they did not have the screen for my tablet and would have to order it and they would call me with a price and date it would be done (they said normally it’s 24-48 hrs). 1-week after dropping off I received a phone call indicating my tablet was ready to pick up, all they needed was my charger to test it out (strange thought they should have their own charger but ok). Took my charger into them, when the guy tried to turn it on there was nothing! He asked if I could come back in a half hour to give it time to charge, I told him no I was in the middle of moving and would be back Monday (this was Friday) he said ok.
Monday, went in to pick up my tablet (they had not called to tell me otherwise) only to be told by the tech that he was having problems with the charging port (mind you we are 2-weeks into this now) I told him that was funny because it worked just fined when I brought it into them, and they tested themselves! HE told me he would call me (I asked can I really count on that since you did not call me in the fist place before even working on my tablet) he said well here is my card call me next time before just showing up. (um excuse me I told you I would be in Monday!). I left very angry with them, one week later (now 3 weeks into this) I receive a call telling me they are still trying to fix my tablet it but I can pick it up. I asked why I would pick it up if you are not done with it only to have to bring it back, he said oh yeah. At this point after being told it had a bad charging port, it now went to oh you have a bad power on button. WHAT you have to be kidding me! My power on button and charging port worked just fine prior to taking it into them! 1-week later (again 4 weeks into this now) I get a call from the head tech. telling me they did all they could but apparently my tablet had some kind of water damage and the mother board was fried!!! I am very unhappy with them at this point, he tells me well we won’t charge you for the rapier but come pick up your tablet. I explained this was not acceptable to me as I brought in a perfectly fine working tablet and they are the ones who broke it! The conversation ended with him telling me there was nothing he could do for me. With that I was not happy being sent home with a paper weight! I called the main number on their web-site asked to talk to Corporate they would not let me! I had to talk to the District Manager! At this point 22-days later I ended up with the General Manager brining his personal tablet from Grand Rapids to the Lansing store and they gave me that. I am still not happy with this as I have no idea how used this tablet it etc. I am still in the process of trying to reach corporate.
