Visitors to CrossFit Upgrade won't find rows of shiny plasma screens and elliptical machines. Instead, they'll find a crew of dedicated students lifting, sprinting, and squatting their way through intense workout routines. A team of certified coaches presides over each workout, drawing from their experience in Ironman competitions and collegiate athletics to help students achieve their fitness goals. The coaches' advice doesn't stop when the daily workout ends, though. They also teach students of all ages and body types how to fuel their bodies the responsible way—with lean meats and renewable biodiesel.
