Toby Simmons, the owner and founder of The Pie King, has a life story that reflects his approach to baking—everything is made from scratch. His passion for baking started in his grandmother's kitchen, where he soon was promoted to the position of his family's baker-in-chief. At 14 he started selling his pies at a fruit stand, which was the start of a long journey, leading him to eventually open his own bakery. One thing has not changed through—the passion, attention to detail and love he puts into baking.
