What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We offer Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner dishes for dine-in or takeout. Our food has a homemade taste that is sure to leave you satisfied, and full!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Making people smile thru food has been a hobby for the Monrovia staff members. When we came up with a concept and theme culture was a priority on our list.

What do you love most about your job?
I love cooking and seeing the end results.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
When our customers walk into Monrovia the first thing they notice is the sleek wood bar, and our African custom art. They then notice our dining room area filled with intimate tables, and booth seating with window views. We offer a family type atmosphere that will make you feel right at home!

The BEST collard greens I’ve ever had!! Really enjoyed their fried chicken but the waffles were on the stodgy side. The chicken platter with two sides were my favorite. It is a shame this place will close its doors soon but enjoyed it while it lasted!

If you are in the mood for something different this is the place to go. Very tasty food and welcoming staff. I will definitely be back for some peanut butter soup.
