At Zengo—from the Japanese for "give and take"—patrons can expect a wide-ranging variety of Asian cuisine. Uramaki and sushi share table space with Thai tom yum soup, Chinese dim sum, and Indian curries. And in keeping with this theme, the restaurant interior is appropriately eclectic. Diners partake amid glowing orange pendant lights and a striking wood-paneled bar that showcases a vast liquor collection, watching as dishes flow out of the semi-open kitchen. Here are a few sample menus for most hours of the day:
- Brunch: Passionfruit Mimosas pair well with coconut waffles with whipped brown butter and mango, edamame sprinkled with sea salt, and crispy Tonkatsu pork with a fried egg.
- Happy hour: Snack on veggie spring rolls and duck pancakes with shallot while sipping a strawberry-yuzu caipirinha or a Sapporo pale lager.
- Dinner: Dig into a pan-Asian take on surf 'n' turf with a spicy lobster roll followed by barbecue curry pork ribs and five-spiced donuts for dessert, paired with a smoky Misuto bourbon cocktail.
