So we went there for dinner, and I'd been there before years ago but remember it being much higher quality. Both of our hibachi meals were small compared to the service at a similar restaurant, Kyoto. Further, after paying $23 and $25 for our meals, respectively, we were both charged $3 a piece for fried rice - this is pretty outrageous since rice is usually pretty standard at these places, especially at that price. Everything about our food seemed low quality - we both had steak and it seemed to be a very low quality of beef, and the chicken was mealy. We also weren't asked how we wanted out steak prepared. Service was slow and presentation was lacking. And honestly, it's just really tacky to charge for fried rice. We won't be back.

As a professional interior designer, I have to say that this restaurant would benefit from a remodel. So, please go and enjoy FABULOUS food and great service! Raoul was our chef, and he is the BEST Japanese-style hibachi chef I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. This is no exaggeration. He was so entertaining, and his demeanor kept all at the table entertained. I rarely take the time to write glowing reports like this one, but after tonight's meal, I felt I have to.

What a bad experience. Went there numerous times in the past and loved it. Must be new owners. Waitress, food, and overall experience terrible. Kyoto will be our new place of choice.
