My family had a great time! We loved the adventure course and the zip lines! And it was only a 40 minute ride to get there.

The staff is on the tree helping people. That's the good side. However, they are tied to one person and they are not available at other spots. In my case, my daughter didn't do the thing 100% right and got her finger injured because the staff is in the other platform and unable to tell my daughter something went wrong. This is disappointed to me.

Ropes course was definitely challenging but we had a blast! We were there on a week day and 2 camps made the lines long and the lifeguard s at the pond were constantly screaming at the kids who didn't listen. More guards needed in the water or on raft in my opinion. I would go again to do ropes course only

It was generally good. The water slides were VERY tame; the pond with the inflatable climbing thing was warm and kind of murky, and I found myself wondering what was growing in it...it was too warm and too small to have failed to chlorinate it. And the ropes course was good, but there was no way to level up -- e.g. to complete the easier level, then to try the harder, without paying again. Which meant that you had to guess at what you might be able to do...fine for a groupon, wouldn't do it again.

From Our Editors

At Candia Springs Adventure Park, you can adventure on land, sea, and air. Tucked amid Rockingham County's tall trees, the park combines the splash-filled fun of a traditional water park with the aerial feats of a brand new, state-of-the-art treetop adventure course. Read on to learn more about each attraction:

  • Water park: Aptly named Twister and Vortex, Candia Springs's dual twisting water slides send riders careening towards the cool waters of the splashdown pool. The park also features a natural spring-fed swimming hole complete with sandy beach, as well as a spray ground filled with interactive water toys.
  • Adventure course: There's even more action overhead. On the park's treetop adventure course, guests strap on a helmet and harness and navigate a challenging ropes course on the way to the finish. The park also contains two zip lines, which send riders on a 1,000-foot flight over the park.
