Every time I've gone to Hana Japan, there has been some kind of hidden fees and charges but I kept overlooking it because my family likes the presentation. But this time around, they went too far. I daughter ordered fried rice as a dish, and they charged us $16 "sitting fee" because she didn't get something overpriced. Even though she's 11 years old and we told them that. the also automatically charged us 18% tip for family of four, seriously? I would have tipped at least that much, if not more but the entitlement really rubbed the wrong way. Especially after charging us $16 for sitting, whatever that sh*t is. Never again.

Great place! First time and we really enjoyed it. The chef was great and full of humor! Thr food was of good quality and tasted great. We used to go to Benihana frequently however in the past years, the price has been going up and quality down. Also, very raucous atmosphere most the time. Hana was just the right mix of fun yet not like being at a bachelor party!
