About Blackthorne Publick House
In bottles: wines from across the globe. On draft: 34 craft beers. On stage: regional musicians. In the Accidental Gallery: masterpieces by local artists. And on the menu? Blackthorne boasts hearty American and British meals that leave no brunch, dinner, or brinner craving unsatisfied. Crafted from classic recipes assembled with contemporary artistry, dishes range from roasted cranberry-lemon chicken to full decorated salmon cured in English breakfast and Earl Grey teas—with burgers, pasta, and meticulously curated salads in between. A menu of gourmet bites also tempts palates with upscale, imaginative takes on pub-grub faves, such as pizzas made on a grill.

The food was bad and overpriced; what they called "mimosa" was canned OJ and wine, and the men's bathroom was beyond disgusting- don't even want to get into it. There's a reason why they didn't have a line out the door on a nice Sunday morning.

Burger was excellent, and they offered a side salad instead of fries which was nice...my husband had fish and chips, excellent and enough for two people or take a piece of fish home....we had a spicy chicken appetizer, very good, a little kick, but different....

Blackthorne was cold and drafty. It was half closed off and we had to sit in the bar area. The chicken and waffles were good but the risotto was dull and flavorless. The waitress was very polite but had a hard time explaining how things were prepared leaving us with the impression that most things were already prepared and just heated.
