In 1983, Sneh Mehtani opened her first restaurant, The Moghul Room, in New York City's Pennsylvania Hotel. She expanded to Edison, NJ a few years later in what marked the beginning of Mehtani Restaurant Group's impressive growth. Today, they're not only famous for their Indian cuisine and Asian restaurants, but also for trend-setting cocktails, elegant banquet halls, and premiere off-premise catering. Sneh even received the New Jersey Restaurant & Hospitality Association's Restaurateur of the Year award, recognizing her passion and success. And with that prestigious accolade, Sneh and her husband Satish retired from the restaurant industry, handing over the reins to son Shaun, who continues his parents' legacy.
