Mr. Handwash, Elmont

Not the best had car wash out there. They don’t take as long with your car as other handwash places do. Definitely a step above a regular car wash and for the price it’s ok. But if you have a nice car and you’re meticulous about every detail, don’t expect to be impressed. Been here 3 times and I’ve had to clean the wheels by hand myself every time while the workers watch me clean.

This is a scam. It is advertised as $164 for $299 worth of detailing, yet the price of a detail is $164. How is this a deal? When I called and asked if I could detail two cars and pay the difference, just to get my full values worth, I was told that I could. But upon arrival it was a different story. The employee was rude and insisted that it couldn't be done. Not only was he being disrespectful, but he refused to work on the cars and scanned my groupon and marked it redeemed. The cops had to be called and the employee lied to police about stealing my groupon service. After I presented the groupon to the officer showing the service marked redeemed and the officer clearly seeing my cars not detailed, the employee then tried to change his story. But it wouldn't fly. Groupon did refund my money. They assured me they would look into the matter and have FAILED to do so. Groupon should not still be in business with this company and anyone who chooses to purchase this groupon is a fool. Total rip off!!!
