Price was fair, service was good, food was tasty. Overall I would go back without a groupon.

I used to enjoy coming to the Armadillo and whenI saw it on Groupon was excited to purchase it but this experience was less than enjoyable. The food was expensive and just so so. Our server was not very attentive and did not bring plates with our sopapillas and my friend order the big meat bowl and had to eat it over the tortilla bowl because again there was not an extra plate. There were only 3 tortillas for such a large bowl of meat. When we asked if we could get some more tortillas we were told it would cost extra. I would need to think twice before recommending this restaurant.

Great good. Our favorite Mexican food in northern Colorado. The service sometimes is lacking particularly when business is slow, which is the odd part, but the good keeps us coming back.

I LOVE the food, so sad they closed the greeley restaurant so we had to go to the lasalle restaurant. I have been there a few times but not in the past year. Was very disapointed, it smelled so bad like mold and mildew it was very hard to enjoy our dinner

From Our Editors

According to lore that has been passed down through the Lucio clan, one of the family progenitors was kidnapped from her native Chihuahua after Pancho Villa tasted her food and decided he needed her as his chef. That distant matron’s culinary wizardry trickled down the family tree and currently informs the cooking of her great-great-grandchildren at Armadillo Restaurants. Chefs at the restaurants use those generations-old recipes while gently patting cornhusks into place around meal and shredded pork or simmering red-chili sauce for enchiladas. Since the Lucios converted the first Armadillo Restaurant from a tough-guy bar into a restaurant in 1972, they’ve opened six additional locations in the Front Range.
