What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? 90% of learning struggles are because of underlying weak cognitive skills and the symptoms the child experiences (like learning struggles) are actually because of those weak skills. LearningRx gets to the ROOT CAUSE of learning struggles and works under the premise of Neuroplasticity by providing one-on-one cognitive brain training to target the weak cognitive skills so that the symptoms (learning struggles, reading difficulty, memory issues, anxiety) go away. You don't need to have a diagnosis to have a learning struggle and need our services, however, we do work with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, LD, Auditory Processing Disorder, and Traumatic Brain Injury patients as well. Our clients have experienced dramatic grade increases, dramatic NWEA/ISTEP score increases, as well as the confidence to succeed. Research shows that our brain training increases a person's IQ anywhere between 15-21 points and more on average. That's not just better, it's LIFE CHANGING!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? So many of today's students are struggling with learning or have been medicated because they are struggling with mood or behavior due to their learning difficulty. Through research, we now know that weak cognitive skills are often at the ROOT of the PROBLEM and those skill weaknesses can eat away at a child or adult's self-confidence and self-esteem. There is a true need for a REAL solution and LearningRx is the only learning center in Indiana that can offer the necessary cognitive training that can change lives.

What do you love most about your job?

Children and Adults come into our center really struggling with attention, learning, reading, retaining information, processing information quickly, and often have very low self-esteem. We LOVE watching these clients leave after their short 4-6 months program getting better grades, reading several books for fun, remembering tons of information, and taking tons less time for homework. But our most exciting change is to see the confidence and joy in our clients by the end of their program because their struggles are gone!

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

It's so hard to choose just one. For every client that comes through this center, grades improve so much, parents tell their child finishing homework quickly without being told or that their child is remembering to do things around the house, the student no longer feels lost in class and can learn, and their confidence is through the roof amazing!. ADHD clients have even reported decreasing or eliminating medication. Autistic clients have reported mainstreaming in classrooms and increased independence. Every client that graduates this program is an amazing testament to the life-changing results of brain training.
