About Active Defense Awareness Training
Every one of A.D.A.T.'s instructors has NRA certification, and many also list military and law-enforcement experience on their resumes. It's this expertise that informs them as they teach basic firearms safety, gun laws, and shooting skills. Their courses include lecture-based sessions and online classes for students who are out-of-state.

Not accepted in Louisiana!

Pat. The Course you paid for was for the Multi-State Online Certification Course. It clearly states in the deal explanation that it qualifies for the Resident or Non-resident Virginia Permit which covers 28 states. You received emails that even stated how to apply for that permit as well. Any legal resident of the 50 states may apply and find great use for the VA permit as their primary or as a secondary permit to add more states of reciprocity. At no time did we state it was qualifying for the specific Louisiana permit.

It is an interesting video for sure. The instructor is a little too roidragemacho for my tastes, but its to be expected. No real gun safety or beginner instruction, or much talk about actual CC laws, so the assumption you already know what you are doing and what your state allows/requires is either a relief if you do, or a lapse if you don't. Also, don't think you will now be able to get any CC permit with the certificate they (eventually) mail you. You only now have ONE part of the requirements for starting the process to get a concealed carry permit in ONE state: Virginia. That permit may be accepted in YOUR state, if it is on the reciprocity list, but you still have to get approved, by mail, in VA. That entails you somehow getting (and paying) YOUR local police into to fingerprinting you, so you can send those prints in with the permit to some other state, and also sending the state of VA $100 that willl NOT be returned if they decide not to approve your permit request! For this much trouble, you may as well just take the course in your own state and know for sure you will be getting a permit at the end of it for your money.

This was the email I received.
First of all firearm instruction companies do not offer or supply "permits or licenses" we can only offer the certification required in order to then apply for the permit/license.

You've already been emailed regarding when to expect the certificate by email and it stated 7-10 Business Days.

We do so in order received so yours will be emailed soon and within the time limit.

Please note Business days are only Mon-Fri and do not include weekends.

You were emailed on December 30th so 10 Business days would be through till January 13th.
This the message I sent
I was wondering what are your processing date to email my license

Hi Malik, yes indeed. Noticed you did not include "your" email but if I do recall we both know why. Our response in regards to your email is 100% accurate. No company offers a permit/license (which is what you were demanding in your email) just the certification of completion that a student then uses for application for said permit. We get them processed in order received and within the 7-10business day time limit and as we both know that was the case for you. Not sure what more you were expecting but best wishes in your application process.
