Gannett Ridge Hunting Equipment owners Josh Soholt and Tyler Matthews call themselves back country mountain hunters, and it's a hard-earned title. They earned it along with sore legs, bouts of hyperthermia, and sleepless nights as they navigated hundreds of thousands of feet of elevations in everything from blistering sun to blizzards. They longed for a pro-shop that catered to their needs, so they decided to start their own.

They carry everything a serious hunter needs, from modern devices such as optics equipment to good, old-fashioned bows and arrows. They offer expert advice on gear, having used everything in their shop to bag impressive trophies in various hunts.
