Operated by the Balearia Group, a transportation company which boasts safe passage for more than 3 million passengers, more than 4 million linear meters of cargo, and 660,000 vehicles in 2015 alone. Balearia Caribbean provides ferry transportation from Florida to the Bahamas Grand Bahama Island. Balearia's Jaume I is a fast ferry and has a capacity of 600 passengers which is graciously appointed with luxury seating much like that found in first class of a commercial airliner; customers may opt to enjoy a movie or simply relax. Additionally, on board amenities include a Café and Bar where customers can indulge in breakfast items, sandwiches, snacks and coffee as well as a selection of cocktails from the bar.
