Cafe Primavera Ft Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale

A very intimate dining experience. Service was excellent. My Veal Marsala was cooked to perfection.

The service was spotty. We asked for butter for the rolls and the server forgot. By the time we got it the rolls were cold. However, the rolls and green beans were delicious. My husbands fish was good and my pasta dish was alright. We asked for water and they wanted to sell us bottled water. We eat out all the time and get water that is cold right out of the coca cola machine but, this was actually warm. The ambiance was good and the place was clean.

Great restaurant for a nice quiet dinner. Excellent food and service.

We chose to go on Monday night, thinking it wouldn't be crowded. Surprise to see only one server with about six tables filled, also several take out orders. We waited a very long time for bread (had to remind server), then we waited long time for food. I understand chef cooks each order, no pre-cooked food served. But my entree was not what I ordered. Since we had waited well over an hour by then, I just ate it. Couldn't wait another hour while my dining partner ate her meal. Coffee was cold but luckily I like iced coffee, just not in a cup when I expected hot coffee. Overall, food was tasty but doubt I will return.
