Unlike regular rides, slot cars don’t have a driver – at least not inside them. Small-scale versions of classic models, slot cars are electronically powered along slots on a track by triggers that control their speed. At Slots-A-Lot Raceway, participants send their vehicles whirring across more than 150-foot tracks, vying to cross the finish first without running their car off the slot.
Up to eight racers can speed along the tracks at a time, as well as down the indoor raceway's quarter-mile drag strip. A pit area reenergizes guests with snacks and soft drinks, while a parts counter supplies equipment for building your own slot car or your pet gerbil's first ride.
