This was basically a sales call that I paid for. The technician worked on my fireplace for 10-15 minutes and then declared that it was unsafe. Worked very hard, using scare tactics to get us to buy a chimney liner. We had another company come yesterday and we said we didn't know when it had last been cleaned. They worked for 1 hour and 15 minutes, said there was a moderate amount of buildup and that it needed to be done (we had used the fireplace once since Highs had been out.
