Service slow. Food sub-mediocre.
Please not only the ambiance, but the food the value and definitely the service needs a LOT of improvements. The floor was sticky, the plates were dirty, the server and the receptionist were in Jeans. Gosh..will never go again even if it is for FREE..
The naan was very doughy and crumbly. The butter chicken had 5 pieces of chicken in a full order. Not enough to even feed 1 person. I waited 30 minutes to get my take out order.
Authentic fresh food. But they need to do hard work to clean the place. Table cloths, floor all were dirty. But food was great. Real south indian style.
The food was not good but the biggest problem was that the language on the Groupon was deceptive. It does not say that the lunch buffet is excluded but when we went there they would not honor it for the lunch buffet. They said it was only valid for "dine in" during certain hours which was also not stated on the Groupon. In my opinion "dine in" means you eat in the restaurant as opposed to "carry out". Very deceptive Groupon and the food was not tasty. I will not recommend Kerala Café to my friends.
Good food, especially tandoori chicken
Sooooo tasty. Best Kerala food I have ever had!!
The Service was slow and pathetic , Under Staffed , Horrible Ambience , These guys will close down soon.
From Our Editors
Every day, before they fire up the clay tandoor oven or strain the homemade paneer, chefs in the kitchen of Kerala Cafe roll up their sleeves and grind spices. They do this to keep each spice blend fresh and flavorful, whether it's a hot curry that will join up with a splash of vinegar to dress chicken vindaloo, or a coriander-laced rub for shrimp masala. North Indian or South Indian, vegetarian or not, a dish at Kerala is painstakingly curated and cooked, starting with the nearly microscopic grains of flavor that give it its personality.
