I enjoyed the wasabi dumpling and beef spring roll appetizers. server was very attentive and food was delicious

The food looked and tasted like it had been cooked in the same oil all day. The Teriyaki tasted like a sauce commonly used in traditional Chinese food. Having been to China and Japan multiple times, this tasted more like Chinese food than Japanese. My guess is that the oils from other food were still on the grill or in the pan and they were never properly cleaned. The building was COLD. Even the waitress and cooks were wearing sweaters. I had to go back out to my car twice to get a jacket and hat. Overall cleanliness was subpar. If I could give it a rating on a 5-star scale, I would give it 1 or 2 stars.
