About 97 Lake Sports Cafe and Restaurant

Like any good sports bar, 97 Lake Sports Cafe and Restaurant glows with the light of major events on high-definition TVs—28, to be exact—and a 108-inch big screen while serving ample pub-style food and beer. But 97 Lake stands out from the pack in a key way: it couples the regular menu, which is chock-full of half-pound burgers and sauce-slathered wings, with a gluten-free version for both kids and adults. The owner has celiac disease and so does his daughter, so he knows how eating out can be a frustrating experience for those with gluten sensitivity. To make his eatery a welcoming and tasty outing for everyone, the kitchen staff is trained to prepare a wide variety of gluten-free food, including pizza, pulled-pork sandwiches and onion rings, pretzel bites, fried pickles, and mac-and-cheese. All this combined has helped 97 Lake earn a win from Westchester Magazine for 2013's Best Sports Bar.

AMAZING option for people who are gluten free. I have celiacs disease and can never find reliable gluten free options at restaurants. I have never had a bad reaction from eating here. I love it. They even have a gf kids menu! Enjoy!!

Communication between server, kitchen staff and owner must improve. Do not tell a patron that the owner will be coming to your table to address a concern and then have him not show up.
