A brave adventure-seeker perches in a tree, high up in the air. After a deep breath and a surge of courage, she steps off the platform and whizzes down a zip line, past the breathtaking treetops of the Purchase College campus. Scenes like this occur constantly on the eight acres of high-flying obstacle courses at Boundless Adventures. With nine courses total ranging anywhere from 10-45 feet high, sectioned into four levels of difficulty, adventurers of all ages and ability tackle balance beams, swinging ladders, and speedy zip lines all while building confidence and working together. Boundless Adventures counts safety as its top priority, so every customer undergoes a safety briefing before climbing up into the trees.
All Ages & Skill Levels
Level: Beginner. These courses are excellent for beginners, kids and people who are not quite confident in their climbing skill yet. At 10 feet elevation, these obstacle courses let you unleash your inner-monkey in the New York sky with a low-speed zip line, easier bridges and unique balance beams. Age Requirements: Age 7-9 - Supervised, Age 10-11 - Supervised, Age 12-13 - Supervised, Age 14+ - Solo.
Level: Intermediate. Summon up some more bravery for our challenging Motivation Courses! At 15 feet, the mantra is "mind over matter" as you traverse elements that include longer zip lines, ladders, and rolling elements. A rolling element gets you from one tree platform to the next like a zip line; but instead of simply jumping off the platform, you might be standing on a skateboard or sitting on a disc. Age Requirements: Age 7-9 - with Adult, Age 10-11 - Supervised, Age 12-13 - Supervised, Age 14+ - Solo.
Level: Advance. This is where we begin to separate the men from the boys and the women from the girls. At 22-26 feet high, test your strength and agility with harder ladders, harder rolling elements, and bridges. This is your chance to show off that you're one of New York's ultimate outdoor adventurers. Age Requirements: Age 7-9 - N/A, Age 10-11 - with Adult, Age 12-13 - Supervised, Age 14+ - Solo.
Level: Expert. Designed for the not-so-faint-of-heart at 30-40 feet high, Conqueror Courses include our hardest ladders and bridges, requiring balance, strength, stamina and agility. If you're in great shape, have no fear of heights and love a good adrenalin-rush in that New York fresh air, these are the courses for you! Age Requirements: Age 7-9 - N/A, Age 10-11 - N/A, Age 12-13 - with Adult, Age 14+ - Solo.
The Boundless Experience
Arriving in the Park
You should plan on spending 3½-4 hours being Boundless! When you arrive at Boundless Adventures in Purchase, you will first visit our reception center located in the parking lot. We recommend leaving your valuables in your car so you're ready for your outdoor adventure. After completing waivers and getting ticketed, our staff will direct you to the harnessing shed.
Safety Is Our Top Priority
We use the most advanced safety equipment available to minimize risk. Participants wear a full-body harness and are locked on to a safety line through an always "on belay" system. Two carabiners are connected together and do not allow users to fully disconnect from the safety line. Participants are unable to come "off belay" until they are firmly on the ground. Trained monitors are stationed throughout the park to provide assistance as needed.
Something for Everyone
We have obstacle courses available for tree climbers of every skill level, whether you're a beginner or an adrenaline-addicted climbing pro. Climbers can conquer as many courses as they like during their three hour admission window which begins after the safety briefing. Walking paths and benches are available throughout the park for guests to enjoy. There is no charge for parking or admission to watch your family and friends while they play in the trees.
