Inside the spacious, sun-filled studio, passionate teachers Leyla Assadi and Kay Ostrenko lead students of all abilities through a robust schedule of 90-minute, heated-yoga classes. Created by celebrated yogi, Bikram Choudhury, the Bikram-yoga method features two breathing exercises and 26 postures designed to promote flexibility and detoxify the body with stretches and balances that send freshly oxygenated blood white water rafting through the body's veins and organs. Heated to a balmy 105-degrees, the serene practice space envelopes students in wall-spanning mirrors and floor to ceiling windows that illuminate the room with soft, natural light. After reducing toxins to Wicked Witch floor puddles, patrons can take advantage of the studio's spa-like facilities, where a steamy sauna and roomy showers complete the cleansing process.
