What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I am a teacher first and a cook second. At the moment there are no other Japanese cooking classes in the Indianapolis area.

What can a student expect in one of your classes?
Students can expect to learn how to prepare real Japanese dishes in a comfortable setting with authentic Japanese products

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I love Japan and to teach . I wanted to start a business on something that I was passionate about and to share it with others.

What do you love most about your job?
It is wonderful to watch students learn something in my class, gain confidence from it and move to learn more on their own.

Don't Judge a book by it's cover!!! Katsumi Kitchen is "THEE HOT SPOT" for an INCREDIBLE DATE NIGHT! We felt welcomed in with classic hoosier home town warmth from the moment we walked in the door. The instructor has an attitude that completely electrifies the atmosphere and instantly gives you a much needed endorphin after a long week! We ate and talked an laughed, and picked up some really neat skills (SO PRACTICAL WE CAN USE THEM AT HOME!!) #WoopWoop. Mori was very hands on and created a space that felt personal with an authentic, clean and intimate class setting that made learning fun (especially for my guy who just wants food with at least work as possible lol! We left Katsumi Kitchen feeling like we really discover something very special. Hands down, we honestly got a high end experience (on our beer budget) because this groupon is definitely under priced, for the quality of classes you get. The only down side was that we ran a little over on time, but hey ...the company was excellent and the extra time was a free and unexpected treat!

Great date night experience and got to enjoy all the wonderful food we made. Quality ingredients and great instructions. We came all the way from Louisville, Ky and it was worth the experience. This same deal can be found on the company website.
