This is one of the best Caribbean restaurants in the metroplex. The food is excellent and the place is always packed with seemingly natives wanting to try the food of the homeland. This type of restaurant makes the Dallas Fort Worth area a better place to dine. Only complaint I have is I wish they had a bigger place and a roomy kitchen for their cooks!

The only thing they need is appetizer plates and desserts and coffee and to ask more often if the customers need something

This is more a cafe than a restaurant. I read earlier reviews where some made comments about the food being served in to go boxes but that's quite efficient as I didn't finish eating all if my food. The food is excellent. That's what I really care about.

Air condition is not good, however, the dishes are served in to go plates so we took the food home.

From Our Editors

The chefs of Adobo Puerto Rican Cafe prepare a menu of traditional specialties, crafting hearty beef, chicken, and seafood entrees that evoke the feeling of dining on Puerto Rico’s sunny shores. The selection of dishes incorporates ingredients such as green and yellow plantains, which can be served mashed beside fried pork and yuca, stuffed with ground beef, or loaded into a slingshot and flung into a flying pet falcon’s beak.
