Very helpful owner helped me get kayak into water. Wonderful weather and very pleasant trip. Left turn leads to more remote area but preferred the area to the right - hogans creek gets much wider and cleaner; pass by many houses so this side could be more crowded on weekends but weekday crowd was minimal. Great way to spend 4 hours on the water. Store also has full supply of kayaks for sale, etc.

Don’t go during high tide.. you have to wade through 8” of nasty water to return your paddle and vest..

Actually that is not "nasty" water at all. During the "rainy" season in November we get extreme high tides. That water you waded thru was the Creek water just running over the bank and a slight flood in the parking lot. Same water you were in to launch your kayak. We have no control of Mother Nature.
