At Chop Steakhouse & Bar, chefs aren't afraid of a little heat. Every time they prepare one of their signature steaks, they fire each cut in a specially designed oven that reaches 1,800 degrees to imbue a satisfying char. It's just one of the many little things that sets them apart from their competitors. Another is their prime rib: sourced from Canadian farms, each roast is rubbed with rock salt and freshly ground black pepper before being cooked to each customer's preferred doneness. Each bite tastes like a little luxury, which matches the warm comfort of Chop's elegant dining room.
Aside from steaks, the rest of the menu showcases playful riffs on classics, such as wasabi-crusted ahi tuna steaks and king crabs wearing actual crowns. In addition to being delicious, many of these seafood dishes are also ethical, sporting the seal of approval from the sustainability watchdogs at Ocean Wise. Guests can cap off their meals with Chop's most lauded dessert: the Fallen Chocolate Souffle Cake, which replicates the old-fashioned indulgence of its namesake while remaining 100% gluten-free.
