The service was non-existent. We sat with empty glasses more than once. We sat down to dirty tables around us and left 90 minutes later with the same tables still dirty. Not only were we not served, but tables around us didn't get served. We pointed to a server that some people hadn't even been acknowledged. We expected a lot more from a high end restaurant that the Chop claims to be. The only thing that we got out of it was the high end price which we expected and even that wasn't fitting as the quality of food didn't match the price. We will never be back.
Expect quality food, but instead, it's a bad experience.
The steak was dry (overdone & not juicy at all) and salty, the appetizer does not taste good as well.
Pictures has been taken on all dishes to remind myself not to go CHOP anymore,
It's really a waste of money and doesn't worth it.
Smoked rib eye was great and so the service!
When I go to a business with a Groupon, I feel that we get worse service because they think I'm cheap. However, this was not the case at Chop! Their service was superb and quick, and the food was delicious!! Got free dessert & drink voucher for bday!
Nice atmosphere, good services, and cooking the steaks as you wish. Make sure how much 5oz. and 8oz. wine is.
Entrance needs to be tidy. Trees knocked down and plant all dead.
Great food, great atmosphere, on the expensive side but with voucher, great value!
Great food. Would go again
From Our Editors
At Chop Steakhouse & Bar, chefs aren't afraid of a little heat. Every time they prepare one of their signature steaks, they fire each cut in a specially designed oven that reaches 1,800 degrees to imbue a satisfying char. It's just one of the many little things that sets them apart from their competitors. Another is their prime rib: sourced from Canadian farms, each roast is rubbed with rock salt and freshly ground black pepper before being cooked to each customer's preferred doneness. Each bite tastes like a little luxury, which matches the warm comfort of Chop's elegant dining room.
Aside from steaks, the rest of the menu showcases playful riffs on classics, such as wasabi-crusted ahi tuna steaks and king crabs wearing actual crowns. In addition to being delicious, many of these seafood dishes are also ethical, sporting the seal of approval from the sustainability watchdogs at Ocean Wise. Guests can cap off their meals with Chop's most lauded dessert: the Fallen Chocolate Souffle Cake, which replicates the old-fashioned indulgence of its namesake while remaining 100% gluten-free.
