It was a disorganized and long process to actually get to go - it was cancelled several times citing poor whether, even though the weather was reasonable and in the end we had to on a cruise we didn't book because of this, i.e., evening instead of day in order to use by the deadline. Made us think they actually didn't have enough people. They did not save our original order for food, so we had to provide all of our details again. The staff were focused on the boyfriends and girlfriends that came on board with them. And, the captain banged the boat into the bridge!

We believed that we would have a cruise partially up the lake and back. We only covered the area that you can basically see kelowna, only up as far as the mill. We had guest with us from out of town and they also felt that idling in the bay did not cut it. The lunch us good and that part we were pleased with. The commentary could not be heard most of the time.

I've cruise with them before and enjoyed the sailing. This cruise was advertised as a Narrated Millionaire Alley cruise narrated by Maxine DeHardt. It was more of an advertisement for Kelowna 1stt by Mayor Gray, then by Maxine. Gary Athans, real estate agent mentioned 3 million dollar properties. 1st home described was acceptably clear, second was a home with long windows which could have been a number of homes (they all had lots of windows) and the 3rd was a white house that at the time it was mentioned was well behind us and there was only a glimse of "white". Gary was promoting his service to sell property. Maxine pointed out the long abandoned Fintry Queen and the old Ferry docks.

great way to get onto the lake in Kelowna at a reasonable price. Was great for my senior parents visiting. The captain was very accomodating with some of the younger guests too!

I was disappointed in the shabbiness of the area where we ate, It was like being in a cafeteria. There wasn't enough seating up top so a lot of people were left standing. I would hardly call it a cruise as we only went across the lake and back. You could swim that far. It needs to be called something else like having a smorg. on the lake. Of course there was an error between the advertising and what we actually got so that probably didn't help as my expectations were set for something very different. They did serve an excellent smorgasbord. RM Rosser
