Unfortunately this person was threatening and honestly just scary to have in my studio. She showed up one day stating she had an appointment with me and had coordinated on the phone. I always coordinate through text to avoid confusion and to have everything in writing. She started shouting at me stating that double bookings are wrong and that she could not believe it. All while shouting and insulting. She proceeded to check her phone and there was no such call to me... The Groupon had not been redeemed and I always redeem groupons before starting lessons to avoid no shows. Her little daughter was in the back seat witnessing everything so I allowed her to come the next day so the child wouldn't feel bad about all the shouting her mother did. Then she proceeded to not show up for her lesson. I informed her she lost her lesson because there is a 48 hr cancellation policy. This is true for anything that is booked ahead. Hotels, schools and Doctors appointments. She got mad and called me "ghetto" and other racial slurs I will not repeat. We have a zero tolerance for bullying and racism in our school so for this reason I reserved the right to admit toxic people in my studio. This is a safe place for students and parents. These types of behaviors are not tolerated and should be called out on. I am glad I will not have anymore interaction with this type of person.
