About Embers

Located among the shops and restaurants of Boca Park in Summerlin, Embers sates appetites with a modern take on American cuisine. The menu features main courses and appetizers that include slow roasted tri-tip steak, grilled miso salmon, bacon-wrapped dates, and wild mushroom risotto. On weekends, blueberry ricotta pancakes, filet benedicts with hollandaise, and smoked bacon and ham croissants are served for brunch. Bottles of wine, craft beer, and Embers' signature vintage cocktails complement the food, which is served in an open, contemporary dining area with a cream-and-brown color scheme, wooden accents, and tall ceilings that pull eyes upward and give diners a break from staring lovingly at their plates.

Food was mediocre, service seemed slow. The pace between appetizer and main course, was too short between them. Appetizer took too long to come out, and entrée followed within 2 minutes.

Went past nearby Cheesecake Factory, Gordon Birsch, etc on our way into The Embers. They all had waiting lines - Embers was 3/4 empty. Why? Too vanilla - little ambience, average food, relatively high prices. --Word obviously gets around! Service was fine.

It is an interesting menu, but expensive. This is the restaurant capital of America & it's cheaper to eat out than in. Besides, we have breakfast buffets all over town for $7.99, incl. beverages. So, why pay your astronomical brunch prices of $12-15 for egg dishes? I had the mushroom/parmesan flatbread & my husband had the tri-tip sliders. Yes, they were quite good but we'll come back for the happy hour prices-- which, I might add, are much more "palatable."

Eggs Benedict and waffles were great.
