Locally owned and operated, Portlandia Moving caters to the greater Portland-Metro area. Aside from moving, our company offers a junk-removal service to help rid you of your unwanted items. Portlandia is committed to being safe, fast, efficient, and above all, responsible.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After starting our moving company, we saw the need for junk removal & a lack of a responsible company to do it. We know how important it is to Oregonians to be environmentally friendly so we took it upon ourselves to provide that service. We run our trucks on biodiesel & properly recycle everything.

What do you love most about your job?
We love being able to go into someone's home and make their lives easier. We understand junk removal is not an easy task, but being able to see the difference before and after makes it worthwhile.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
All of our customers have been satisfied with the results, but one particular customer stands out. They were in a tough financial situation so they were extremely grateful we got the job done at a price they could afford. They even called us their "savior." We were just happy to help!
