Usually we have a great experience at Masala and I would recommend it without reservation. However, it was posted on the door that the Groupon expired two weeks prior to our visit. When we questioned the server about it he "checked with the owner" and said that it would not be honored because of a contract issue with Groupon. We were meeting friends so we stayed, vowing not to return. Contract isssue or not, the deal should have been honored as part of good customer service. The expiration date was the 30th, the owner claimed it should have been the 16th. When our check was brought to the table, the owner/server did give us the deal after all but it could have been handled much better.
