Great food. On New Year's Eve it was very. Crowded but we were wise enough to make reservations so we walked right in past the crowd - who was not amused

Perfect for a romantic date night. Peaceful and Elegant. Food was wonderful. The Crabcakes and Lobster bisque was scrumptious! They offer $20 bottles of wine... Can't wait to go back

Our order was behind a big party so we waited way over an hour for our entree A few plates could have been served hotter but all had a very good flavor Very good waiter I will go back again

Very good food Just moved here from Europe and our food was on par with any Italian food we have had in Germany and Italy The waiter was 1st class and the price for the food was reasonable; but of course the prices for wines here in the States are ridiculously expensive as compared to Europe and they are not that good, but such is life in America

From Our Editors

A downtown mainstay for more than a quarter century, Ciao Italian Restaurant quells cravings with Prime Omaha beef and house-made sugar-free marinara rife with garlic, basil, and olive oil. Chef Tony, the eatery's epicurean mastermind, pours more than three decades of culinary experience into the preparation of Maryland-style crab cakes and fettuccine alfredo seasoned with pepper and ground nutmeg. Servers ferry glasses of pomegranate margaritas to tables dressed in gray linens and patrons sink forks into creamy cannolis imported from New York City's Little Italy. The venue's cozy dining area seats businessmen for quick lunches, couples for candlelit dinners, and canine actors for Lady and the Tramp scene studies.
