Stepping through the doors at Twig & Leaf is like stepping back into another decade. The restaurant has been a Louisville staple since 1962 and, since its inception, not much has changed. The interior's decor is charmingly retro, with cozy booths that conjure up images of a 1950s-era eatery. This Americana charm even extends to the menu, which serves up hearty American fare such as country-fried steak sandwiches or ham and turkey clubs. Breakfast-lovers can even indulge in their morning favorites, such as pancake platters or Denver scrambles, which are served up all day long.
