Food was fresh/homemade, as expected from a family-owned restaurant. Selection was o.k., not terribly imaginative but something for everyone, steak, seafood, chicken, etc. We went there on a Saturday night at the end of a snowstorm, and dining room was totally empty, but bar area was full. Would likely be livelier on another weekend - so hard to opine on atmosphere. Not sure if I would go there without the Groupon unless I lived close by.

go with a good appetite - the servings are generous! definitely indulge in the Portuguese dinner rolls & the olive oil w/ herbs & spices dipping sauce and their homemade salad dressings (apple cider vinaigrette was excellent!), and the homemade linguine pasta!
