I was given the ticket and i presented the groupon and my money for the remainder of the bill. The lady took this and then brought the bill back adjusting the total upward. She said that they add 18 percent gratuity automatically because we used a groupon!!! This is a buffet rest. I would tip these people but i did not like how she "adjusted" the bill when she found out we had a groupon. She said that groupon said to add the 18 percent. They do not! They suggest you tip normally on the whole amount.

The owner and her staff tried to add extra costs to our bill, after learning we were using the Groupon. She tried to add a mandatory 18% tip and raise the price of the buffet. One of the signature item listed for Frenchie's are the dry rub ribs, however the ribs when we arrived were burned and them never brought any more out. We will never visit this restaurant again.
